MD&M Track Themes
Track A's sessions cover issues important to R&D engineers, design engineers, and others in the early phases of medtech development: advances in product development techniques, human-centered design, artificial intelligence, sensor technology, usability testing, getting products to market fast, and more.
After you conceive a device and move it into development, you face a new set of challenges. This track offers sessions on choosing and using materials, prototyping, meeting material and product testing requirements, overseeing process and quality control, verification and validation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and key industry standards.
This track looks at the final stages of making devices and getting them to market. Sessions will dig into topics such as adding smart manufacturing technologies (including artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, and the Internet of Things) to the manufacturing process. They'll also cover traditional manufacturing issues such as supply chain and scale-up.
ESC Track Themes
Dive deep into the latest information in low-power design, systems architecture, debug & test, security, sensors, and wireless networking techniques that can help engineer more efficient products.
Drill down into new thinking behind device drivers, open-source software, code reliability, languages, and much more.
Learn how networks are growing, integrating, and improving the way we build and experience the world. Topics include architecture, firmware, security, and application software.
Topics will focus on virtual reality, augmented reality, robotics, artificial intelligence, and related topics. This track reveals how these innovations and others will change the manufacturing industry.
